For 20 years, I have served our community while raising my family and growing my business here. I have owned restaurants and helped many restaurants get their bearings in our community. I’ve volunteered on various community and nonprofit boards. As an advocate for small business owners, I’ve built relationships with local, state, and federal leaders. These are the skills needed to continue to move the Port of Vancouver into the future. I am someone who builds relationships while bringing all viewpoints together. An effective leader is someone who will listen and communicate clearly.
Our port is a major economic engine. The new waterfront at Terminal 1 is a game changer for our community. I have the right demeanor and skills to see this project to fruition.
I will focus on the port’s opportunities: the waterfront, economic development for our region, and developing a skilled workforce. I’ll make sure our port meets its important obligations to protect the environment, be transparent and open for public review, and exhibit fiscal responsibility.
My passion is working hard to make our community successful. I have a proven track record and I will continue to do it if elected as your Port Commissioner. I humbly ask for your vote.
